These high-quality color plate illustrations, illustrated by Milo Winter, are printed on glossy pages and were originally interspersed throughout the 1916 Windermere Series version of Alice in Wonderland

The illustrations themselves are in excellent condition. A few of them have slight tears around the edges of the paper, but not near the illustration itself. See pictures for more detailed visuals. Colors might vary slightly in person.

Known for reissuing literary classics with high-quality illustrations, the Windermere Series books aimed at making classic literature more visually appealing and accessible to young readers and families. Each book featured the work of an acclaimed illustrator, adding a unique artistic touch to well-loved stories.

The color plates for Alice in Wonderland were illustrated by Milo Winter (1888-1956), who created illustrations for editions of "Aesop's Fables," "A Christmas Carol," and "Arabian Nights" in addition to "Alice in Wonderland."  Winter was later the art editor of Childcraft books from 1947 to 1949.
