If you have used a watch spring bar tool, then you can attest they are often finicky to handle, easy to break, and lack any sort of balanced weight for stability.  Tom Bushey of HASSLER INSTRUMENTS saw this problem and reinvented a classic tool.

The HASSLER INSTRUMENTS Bolt Action Spring Bar Tool is a manually machined and hand finished masterpiece.

The tool features a convenient - and satisfying to operate - mid body bolt action design which provides instant access to a Bergeon 6767-AF fine fork spring bar tip.

When not in use the tip retracts into the tool body, protecting the tip until your next strap change.

A second spring bar tool, with a Bergeon 6767-BF Fine Pin style tip, is accessed by unscrewing the tool end cap. This mini spring bar tool is useful for bracelet clasp resizing or changing straps on watches with drilled lugs.

The solid weight of the tool creates a superb stability, allowing for steady movements while utilizing it to change your straps. In other words, a much greater chance of keeping your luxury watch collection scratch free.

The Gladfellow collaborative edition adds a lathe turned grip along the top as well as the signature Gladfellow logo on the end cap. Each tool is also marked for authenticity with HASSLER on the front side of the pocket clip and numbered on the inside of the pocket clip.

The tool is made in small batches and is normally only available directly from HASSLER INSTRUMENTS thru a waitlist/pre-order process with lengthy lead times. The Gladfellow collaborative edition will allow you to immediately buy one when they are available in the shop.

Do not miss the opportunity to own the absolute best in spring bar tools. It's a perfect complement to any watch collection.

About HASSLER INSTRUMENTS

Founded by Tom Bushey, HASSLER INSTRUMENTS is named after Ferdinand Hassler, a Swiss-American Surveyor and Mathematician. In 1816 Hassler was appointed as the first Superintendent of the Survey of the Coast, the first scientific agency in the United States. Hassler was known for designing the instruments he used in his surveys, a practice that inspired the creation of the first HASSLER INSTRUMENTS Bolt Action Spring Bar Tool. Each tool is made to order on manually operated machine tools and finished by hand in our St Paul, Minnesota workshop.
